Our Eco-Ethical Credentials

  • Q: How do we know that your eco-bags are ethically sourced?
Bag It Don't Bin It believes that the manufacture of its products should contribute to the social welfare and empowerment of workers. Unlike most other eco-bag manufacturers, we have personally, ethically sourced and audited the factories in which our bags are made. Bag It Don't Bin It Management regularly visits the overseas production facilities to ensure that they meet our ethical, quality and environmental standards. We keep in touch daily through phone and email.
  • Q: Do you have a Fair Trade Policy?
We have applied strict criteria to the ethical sourcing of partner businesses to ensure that our products are fairly traded. This criteria is outlined in our Eco-Ethical Information Pack. We guarantee that no abusive work practices are used in the making of our eco-bags, whether in the UK or overseas and we continually seek to empower our workers through best practice.
  • Q: How eco-friendly is your company?
We have put into place environmentally friendly measures into our daily activities and work processes so that our business success is not comprised by practices that harm the environment. We minimise the use of paper in the office, recycle packaging materials, raise awareness, encourage participation and train employees in environmental matters. We also actively influence suppliers and customers to reduce their use of excessive and unnecessary packaging through ongoing campaigns and leading by example as well as participating in campaigns that promote the awareness of environmental issues. In addition, we work from a refurbished building with natural light and good insulation throughout to save energy. 50% of our lighting facility uses energy efficient light bulbs and virtually all of our workforce live locally and travel to and from work by public transport or car share.
